D’Kota Markowski is a graduate of Creative Arts Secondary School and is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin Stout majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. He has worked as an LGBTQ+ campus resource coordinator advocating for student rights. He is a young adult leader within the FASD community and has advocated for FASD policy change both in Minnesota and on the national level.
