Children and adolescents with an FASD often show social difficulties. During this presentation, you will learn about recent research on the impact of prenatal alcohol exposure on "social brain" volumes and executive functioning skills, and their relation with some of these social difficulties. The presenters will discuss the similarities and differences in social difficulties between children with an FASD and autism spectrum disorder. Finally, they will make recommendations for interventions to improve social skills for children and adolescents with an FASD.
