Description

To see prevalence rates of FASD decrease in all communities, we need to invest time and resources to authentically engage with diverse communities. The impact of alcohol-exposed pregnancies can be more devastating in BIPOC communities when issues related to historical trauma, racism and social determinants of health are not addressed. Guided by Native American leaders, Proof Alliance is launching new programming designed to meet the needs of Indigenous communities. This programming -- which includes prevention, screening, diagnosis and support through a cultural lens -- has been named Our Children are Sacred. Join us to learn more about Our Children are Sacred and the work Proof Alliance is leading at both the state and national level.
