This workshop will demonstrate and discuss innovative, culturally relevant ways to educate reservation-dwelling Indigenous communities and raise awareness about FASD. The presenters will discuss support strategies prioritized by Indigenous communities and present recent findings from our ongoing study to establish effective, meaningful support for families affected by FASD and other developmental disabilities/delays. The presentation will also explore creative ways to provide education, services and programming during the COVID-19 pandemic in a way that is inclusive and destigmatizing.
